Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
1. Overview
AgentxSeller, a service operated by Taigers LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), gives e-commerce sellers one place to see where their traffic comes from, what it earns, and to act on it: content, products, inventory, orders and advertising across Shopify, Google and Amazon. This Privacy Policy describes what we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Shopify store data: Your shop domain, an access token, and the permissions you grant at install. See section 5 for the full list and what each one is for.
- Blog content data: Articles, drafts, tags, and SEO metadata that you generate or manage through AgentxSeller.
- Brand configuration: Brand voice, tone, keywords, and content rules you set up in AgentxSeller.
- Product and inventory data: Titles, descriptions, prices, stock levels and identifiers for the products in your store, so they can be shown and edited in AgentxSeller.
- Order data: Order numbers, line items, quantities, totals, discounts, refunds, payment status, fulfilment status, tracking numbers, and the processing fee your payment provider charged on each order.
- Your customers' personal data: For each order, the customer's name, email address, phone number and shipping address. We hold this only to show you your own orders, to let you contact a customer about one, and to create the shipment. It is described in detail in section 6.
- Google account data: If you connect Google, the data described in section 8.
- Amazon data: Advertising performance and spend, product listings, inventory, orders and settlement figures from the Amazon accounts you connect.
- Usage data: Information about how you interact with AgentxSeller, including feature usage and timestamps.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To generate and publish blog content to your Shopify store on your behalf.
- To perform AI-powered brand compliance checks on your articles.
- To show you your products, orders and stock, and to make the changes you ask for in AgentxSeller.
- To calculate what each order earned, using your own cost figures and the fees your providers charged.
- To create shipments, attach tracking numbers, and issue refunds when you tell us to.
- To show your search, traffic and advertising performance in one place.
- To communicate with you about your account and service updates.
We do not use your data, your customers' data, or your Google data to train AI models, and we do not sell it. Article generation sends your brand configuration and article text to our AI provider (section 4); it does not send your customers' personal data or your Google account data.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with:
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Your brand configuration and article content is sent to Anthropic's API for AI content generation and health checks. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data.
- Cloud infrastructure providers: We use cloud hosting services to operate AgentxSeller. Your data is stored securely on our servers.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Shopify Data Usage
These permissions are used by features available today:
- read_content / write_content: Read your existing blog posts and publish new articles.
- read_products / write_products: Show your products and apply the title, description, price and status changes you make in AgentxSeller.
- read_orders / write_orders: Show your orders and what each one earned, and carry out the actions you choose: refunds, cancellations, capturing an authorised payment, notes and tags.
- read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders / write_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders: Mark an order shipped, attach a tracking number, hold or release a shipment.
- read_customers: Show who placed an order so you can ship it and support it. See section 6.
These are granted at install for features we are building, and are not used yet. We list them rather than leave you to discover them on the permission screen:
- read_inventory / write_inventory, read_locations: Stock levels and per-location quantities.
- read_discounts / write_discounts, read_price_rules / write_price_rules: Promotions.
- read_legal_policies / write_legal_policies: Store policy pages.
- read_analytics / read_reports: Shopify's own reporting, to sit alongside your search and advertising data.
- write_customers: Reserved for customer records you edit in AgentxSeller. We do not write to your customers today.
We do not access your payment credentials, and we cannot see your Shopify Payments balance or payouts. The only payment figure we read is the processing fee recorded against each order, which we use to work out what that order actually earned.
6. Your Customers' Personal Data
When you connect a store, AgentxSeller processes personal data belonging to your customers. You are the controller of that data and we are your processor: we handle it only to provide the features you use, and only on your instructions.
We hold these fields, for these reasons and no others:
- Name: to show you whose order it is, and because a shipment cannot be created without a recipient.
- Email address: to show you the order and to let you contact the customer about it.
- Phone number: passed to the carrier for delivery contact.
- Shipping address: to create the shipment and to show you where an order is going.
We do not use this data for marketing, we do not profile your customers, we do not sell or share it for advertising, and we do not send it to our AI provider.
When Shopify sends us a customer erasure request, we remove the customer's name, email, phone and address from the orders named in the request and delete the customer record. The order itself, its line items and its totals remain, because you need them for your own accounting; what is removed is everything that identifies the person.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you uninstall AgentxSeller from your Shopify store, your store's access token is revoked and we delete the data we hold for that store. Blog articles already published to your Shopify store remain in your Shopify account and are subject to Shopify's own policies.
Orders older than 24 months are de-identified automatically. The customer's name, email, phone and shipping address are removed; the order number, line items and totals remain, because you need them for your own accounting and they no longer identify anyone. This runs on a schedule, not on request, so an order stops carrying personal data whether or not anybody asks.
If you disconnect your Google account, we delete the stored credential immediately and stop collecting new data from it. Search Console, Analytics and Merchant Center data already collected is deleted with it on request, and in any case when your account is closed.
8. Google Account Data
Connecting Google is optional. Nothing in AgentxSeller requires it, and you can disconnect at any time from the Connections page or by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
When you connect it, AgentxSeller requests these scopes:
- openid, email: To identify which Google account is connected and show it back to you, so you can tell whether the right one is attached.
- Search Console, read only (
webmasters.readonly): To read the search queries, impressions, clicks and positions for the site you select, and whether your pages are indexed. This is what lets AgentxSeller choose article topics from real demand, find pages ranking just below the first page, and identify articles Google has not indexed. - Google Analytics, read only (
analytics.readonly): To read session, channel and landing-page figures for the property you select, so you can see which content brought visitors and what happened after they arrived. - Merchant Center (
content): To read your product feed and its item-level issues, so feed problems appear next to the products they affect. Google does not offer a read-only version of this scope; we use it only to read.
We store your Google account email, the Search Console site and Analytics property you choose, your Merchant Center account id, and an encrypted refresh token. We store the reporting figures returned by those APIs so the dashboards load without re-querying Google every time.
We do not read your email, your files, your calendar, or anything else in your Google account. The scopes above are the only ones we request, and none of them grants access to those. We do not use Google data to train AI models, we do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone except the cloud infrastructure that runs AgentxSeller.
AgentxSeller's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Data Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Every stored credential is encrypted at rest, including Shopify access and refresh tokens, Amazon credentials, and the Google refresh token; none of them is stored in plain text. Access to production systems is limited to the people who operate the service.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Uninstall AgentxSeller from your Shopify store at any time to revoke our access.
- Contact us with any privacy concerns.
11. GDPR Compliance
For merchants in the European Economic Area (EEA), we comply with GDPR requirements. On a Shopify customers/redact request we remove the named customer's name, email, phone and address from the orders named in it and delete the customer record. On shop/redact we delete the store's data. On customers/data_request we record exactly what we hold for that customer and make it available to you, the merchant, so you can answer your customer within the 30 days Shopify requires.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of AgentxSeller after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
